When Did You Start Producing Music?

I started producing music from 2007 while I was in highschool. I got introduced to production software by a friend of mine whom I shared the same interests & love for music

What Led You Too Start This?

I've always had a passion for music, since growing up I was a dancer from a very young age and saw myself creating and dancing to my own sounds one day.

What Are The Lows You've Come Across In This Industry?

There are many setbacks in the industry, especially when it comes to doing features and collaborations, if you are not well known, then no one wants to work with you even if your work is on point, Oh just to push your work out there, they would rather work with someone who is already established. So finding a platform is very difficult.

What Are The Highs Of The Industry?

Once you get yourself out there and people start noticing you, everyone will want to mess with you and therefore you will end up being surrounded by a lot of experience. Experience which will change how you used to view the industry and how you will view it going forward.

What If A Record Company Wants To Sign You?

When a record company wants to sign, I ask myself questions: which record company is this? is my sound the type of sound they market, are they well established?, why are they interested in my sound? being with this record company going to grow my sound and me as an artist? What are they offering on their contract. Am I going to be comfortable working with them or not? Then if I can gladly answer those questions with no doubt then I will consider it.

On That Note About Being Signed, Is There Any Deals You Got By Far? Any Promising Signing?

Well for now I am still negotiating with a label which I am intending on releasing an EP with soon but I would not want to sign with them because I do not want to see myself working with a label for a long period of time due to the fact that I am also in the process of establishing my own label. So I am only willing to release with them and not become one of their artists.

Wow Levels, Independence Always Win. Any Details About Your Label?

I do not want to reveal much about my label but all I can say is that, I am looking to discover a lot of talent which I have spotted around me but did not have the power to do much about it.

Is It Finance? Time? Or Accurate Planing?

Well I wouldn't want To promise young talent dreams that I won't be able to deliver. So in the space of well Established labels that is out there, it is then I can start to work with other talented individuals

Is It About The Passion, Money Or Fame ?

I would say its all about the passion, but then again since the process of producing and distributing music involves money, then it is also about the money, because "the present hit, needs to make money in order to give birth to the next hit". Engineers, marketing, producers and vocalists need to be paid at the end of the day. But what keeps me going is the passion. Fame is something that I do not look forward to because I've seen what it has done to many people in this industry but I cant say I am not ready, if its going to come my way then I am very well prepared for it, I will not make a lot of mistakes which have been made by artists in the industry.

Please Describe Your Sound?

My genre Is House music and the sound is very broad because I cater for most types of listeners. If you are into broken beats then there's something for you, if you are into the deeper side then there's also something for you, for the afro tech or afro deep heads there's something for you too and if you are into the chilled out or lounge section to relax your soul then there's also something for you too, so my sound is very complex.

What Is The Targeted Market You Looking At?

I mostly market listeners who are into vocal, chilled out and funky deep house music, and so I believe that most of the youth and the more matured individuals are most likely to crunch into my sound. And for the older generation which is not into drums and break beats then my music also caters for them too. So when I create my sound I concentrate mostly on people who listen with their soul and not their ears, and that is why my sound is not commercial.

Any Collabs You Have Done?

I have not collaborated much with many producers but I have been working with producers and artists that I started with in the music industry, mainly the likes of Kayladeep and Deeptone, and I have done features with other up coming artists, like I have mentioned before that I am very much interested in discovering talent and want to give up coming artists a platform since I understand very well how hard it is to get a breakthrough in the industry.

Where Do You See Your Music In The Next Coming 5 Years

I see my music still being played and remixed through out the country and abroad because my sound is very broad and is most likely to remain in peoples hearts for a long time, this due to the fact that my sound is very well planned.

I'm A Fan Rite? Where Can I Get Linked Up With Your Music?

If you are a fan and you want to get a hold of my music you will have to wait till this coming summer since I have been working on a few pieces that will be released on most online stores like Traxsource, Itunes, tunecore etc. And will also be played on most radio stations around the country. Just to mentioned one, look out for Enigma, an EP which will include remixes by myself, Kayladeep and Deeptone which is gon' be my first official release.
