Wine N Dine
Wine and dine is an event which focuses on embracing food and wine lovers. It’s an environment where couples and single people can come and enjoy a three course meal prepared specially by a professional chef live in front of the consumers/clients. The food will be served along with the suitable wine for each and every different course meal. It’s a place where people will get to experience the process of the chef preparing food (e.g. Spit braai) while being served welcome drinks.
Wine & dine is your fancy restaurant similar to the ones from suburbs, urban and central district business areas brought close to you in the township. It’s a mobile restaurant that offers locals whom do not afford to go and enjoy leisure outside their comfort zone.
#WnD is an outdoor event that looks into empowering local small businesses that are into food, wine and music. An environment where consumers will get to enjoy with loved ones while indulging in a 3 course meal prepared for that specific day and mood.
It’s an exclusive event that will also have limited seating. A setting full of ambience and will have a beautiful view to simmer down with the delicious food the chef will prepare.
Guests will be seated on a long banquet table like kings and queens, beautifully decorated along with the theme. The theme of the day will be white and lavender.
There will be service on that day. Guests will be served by waiters to make the experience more warm and worthwhile.
The first “Wine and Dine” will happen on the 14th of February 2016 on “Valentine’s day” which will be on a Sunday. It’s a way of celebrating/Embracing couples. We are trying to bring a new feel/vibe to the township that has never been introduced.
It’s an event that the consumer will get to drink specific wine along with the specific meals.
For instance if the first course meal (Starters) is fish & veggies or chicken and pasta that will go with “White Wine” and if the Second course meal (Main course) is T-bone sirloin / lamb and veggies that will go along with “Red Wine”. That will get the mood and meal enjoyable.
As mentioned above, it’s an exclusive event. We are trying to seat 50 – 80 people maximum, that will increase the demand of the next upcoming “Wine and Dine.”
Market surveys shows that people within the townships are not willing to spend more than R150.00 on eating out. With that being made out, we came to terms that admission fee should be R200.00 per person and couples could get a discount in reference of the day being a romantic day and consumers will come in large numbers so it will be R350.00 per couple.
